1. Who We Are

mrjttaylor.com is the personal site of JT Taylor MS, MBA, operated by NOC, LLC, 453 S Spring St Ste 400, Los Angeles, CA 90013, United States. This policy explains what we collect through the site, why, and what you can do about it.

2. What We Collect

2.1 What You Send Us

When you use a form we collect what you type: your name, email, business, website and your message or answers. For the guest application that includes what you do and the piece of advice you want to discuss. For the newsletter, your email.

2.2 What Is Collected Automatically

Our forms record your IP address and browser type with each submission, to prevent abuse and to keep a record of what you agreed to. The site uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to count visits and see how the site is used. Episode pages embed YouTube videos; YouTube may set its own cookies when you play one.

3. How We Use It

To answer you; to run the podcast guest process; to send the newsletter if you joined it; to keep records of what you agreed to; to prevent spam and abuse; and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

4. Who We Share It With

Only the service providers that run the site and its forms, each using it only to do that job: our web host (InMotion Hosting), our application host and database (Railway), our email provider (Resend), and Google Analytics and YouTube as described above. We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to a successor if the business is sold. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. This site runs no advertising pixels.

5. Other Sites

When you follow a link to Notebook of a COO, including its assessment, what you enter there is covered by its own Privacy Policy, not this one. The same goes for YouTube, Spotify and the social platforms the site links to.

6. Security

Forms are sent over encrypted connections, and the admin is password protected and rate limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. How Long We Keep It

Inquiries and applications are kept while they are useful to answer you and for our records, normally up to 3 years. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only the fact that you unsubscribed, so you are never emailed again by mistake. Consent records are kept for up to 7 years for legal purposes.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any of them. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, and to object to or restrict its use. To make a request, use the contact form and choose Privacy, or write to the address above. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we respond within 30 days.

9. California

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and disclose, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. To make a request, use the contact form and choose Privacy. We respond within 45 days.

10. Europe and the United Kingdom

If you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on your consent (for the newsletter), on performing a contract (a guest appearance), on our legitimate interests (answering inquiries, preventing abuse, improving the site) and on legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time and may complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Children

The site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, use the contact form and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We will post any change here with a new date. Material changes take effect 14 days after they are posted.
